N95 Web Browser Crashed

A nightmarish situation actually, this happened to me yesterday evening. I click the Web icon and nothing happened. The screen just flashed a bit and I was back at the Standby screen. (Opera Mini and other web application worked well nevertheless!)

So today, I google about this. Found out that this is a typical problem that N95 users are experiencing.

Remedy: hard reset (backup first!!!).
Do the three-finger salute or *#7780# (*#RST0#).

And from experience, the backup (both PC backup and memory card backup) is not 100% safe... SMS, contacts and few settings are OK, but I lost few of my applications, web feeds, and few others.

To do for today:

get the new Gmail 1.5
get the new S60 native Google Map Mobile
Jaiku
Palringo
Fring
Install YBrowser
...

BTW I'm running Firmware V12.0.013 19-06-07 RM-159.

Thanks to Anthony (S60tips), now I use Palringo for my instant messenger client on my mobile phone. I need to sign up for an account on their website, download the application, install, and running (well, I still need to enter my login information for various IM services that I plan to use).

Compared to Agile & IM+, this one is not bad at all.

Nicer layout and display. Functional, though I still have to improve my multitap / T9 skills... :-)

Free (at least until now), while Agile & IM+ software cost something.

Palringo supports MSN, AOL AIM, Yahoo, ICQ, XMPP/Google+Jabber, and Gadu-Gadu (never heard of it?).
