Wimode, door prize
Door prize from last seminar. Apparently, regarding door prize, I'm not as unlucky as I thought to be. This is a CDMA2000-1x modem, called Wimode. Offered by Bakrie Telecom.
Since this is a CDMA2000-1x, then it offers 153 kb/s speed. And the Internet connection is charged in time-based manner. Rp 125 per minute or Rp 7,500 per hour (approx 80 cents USD). Expensive? Hmm... so-so, it is comparable to existing dial-up services (approx 1 USD per hour, including the local call charges).
